Tom Kruskel is a unique designer with a background in mathematics, design, and music. These seemingly different fields have all come together in a beautiful and harmonious way to create hand forged jewelry that elevates hand forging from a craft to an art form. Tom's main goal is to balance artistic honesty with the integrity of his successful small business.
Drawing inspirations from such sources as the organic shapes in the New England countryside and the ocean with all its fluid changing forms, it's easy to see how such lovely jewelry is created at Tom Kruskel's hands. He also credits the music that fills his life outside the jewelry studio because it reminds him of the proportion, balance, movement, and grace he strives for in his jewelry designs.

The design process that Tom uses incorporates a lifelong exploration of linear forms in space. His attention to the interplay of aesthetics and the fabrication process also helps create the best designs. In his own words, "if it’s too complicated to make, it’s probably not a good design!"
All of Tom Kruskel's jewelry is hand-crafted from beginning to end right here in the USA in Tom's studio in New England studio, by Tom or under his direct supervision. Many of his designs include 14k gold wire (in yellow and white). His white gold has been alloyed with palladium for a bright white look which doesn't tarnish and never needs plating. Tom's gemstones and pearls are all genuine and of excellent quality. His diamonds come directly from Belgium and are conflict-free.
Tom's goal is to hand craft beautiful jewelry that is "light yet strong, classic yet contemporary… and a compliment to the wearer’s spirit." His jewelry is designed to affordable, appeal to women of all ages, and versatile enough to be worn in the daytime and in the evening. Tom's special hand forging techniques harden the metals uses to make them strong. The heat treating he does reinforces the strength and resilience of the designs. The whole process culminates in a hand polish that creates the perfect finish for each uniquely hand crafted piece of jewelry.
