Servicing and Cleaning
We will clean your jewelry purchased from Main Street Goldworks and check the settings free of charge. To avoid compromising the integrity of your jewelry, we recommend jewelry service and cleaning be done at least twice a year.
Refunds
Refunds are permitted within 14 days from the date of purchase when accompanied with a sales slip. This period may be extended for early holiday shoppers but please ask when making a purchase, if you're concerned. The returned merchandise must be unused and unworn, in original condition, and where applicable, in the original gift box with all warranty cards and instruction books intact.
Refunds, exchanges or credits will not be permitted on special orders, altered, and/or custom items, sales items, items designated "as is" or "final" types of sales.
Custom Design
Whether you use your stones or ours, your metal or ours, you can become as involved as you'd like in designing your project. We will assist you through the design process to insure the durability of the design as well as the beauty. Jay is adept in the ancient art of hand-fabrication and has created many beautiful pieces working directly with metal. Main Street Goldworks also excels in wax casting. If your jewelry design requires a wax mold, we will include you in every step of this procedure.
Custom Work
Custom designed jewelry involves metals, gems, and labor furnished by Main Street Goldworks for a specific client. As such, all custom jewelry is nonrefundable, and requires a 25% nonrefundable deposit before the work begins. Every effort will be made by Main Street Goldworks to accurately manufacture or produce the item(s) so ordered. Full payment upon receipt of custom work will denote the your complete satisfaction. Minor adjustments, such as ring sizing or texturing will gladly be made by Main Street Goldworks to accommodate the wearer at either a modest fee or at no charge depending on the extent of the work involved.
Layaways
Jewelry may be placed on layaway for a maximum of 90 days, with a minimum deposit of 25%. Layaways are not refundable or exchangeable, and cancellations or delinquent payments will result in a loss of your deposit.
